Stepping through the 172-year-old Georgian archway at the entrance to the hotel, once home to the Lady Glenorchy Church, guests instantly pass into a bright and contemporary space. An easy 5-minute walk from Edinburgh train station, the 77-room Glasshouse hotel greets guests with the impressive original church façade, before they are transported into the contrastingly contemporary design on the inside.

Driving: Guests can park in QPark, which is located adjacent to the hotel. All hotel guests can validate their parking tickets at our reception to receive 20% discount off parking. If you are using a satnav place EH1 3AN in and follow directions which will lead you directly to the car park.

Airport: Take a tram from York Place, situated across the road from the hotel, or alternatively our concierge team can assist you booking a taxi or private car. 

Edinburgh Waverley Train Station: Just a few minutes’ walk from The Glasshouse.

Tram: Edinburgh trams offer a direct link from Edinburgh Airport to York Place, which is conveniently located opposite the hotel. The journey lasts approximately 40 minutes, and costs £6. 

Bus: Lothian Buses operate many routes around Edinburgh, the hop on hop off service is the most cost-effective way for visitors to see Edinburgh, with most journeys just £1.70, or unlimited full-day travel for just £4.
